When will I feel my baby move?

This usually happens around 16-24 weeks with the first pregnancy.  You may feel your baby move earlier in subsequent pregnancies.  Beginning at 26 weeks, count the number of times the baby moves in one hour.  If you record four or more movements in one hour, the activity of the baby is adequate.  If you feel less than four movements, count for an additional hour and divide the total be two.  Eight movements in two hours are also adequate.  If you feel less than this, call the office.
